At Least One Province Has The Balls Not To Rip Off Their Constituents
It looks like Manitoba isn’t going to adopt the HST at this time, saying that their constituents would be on the hook for a 400 million bill on services and goods that are not taxed on now.
They unlike be BC who just jumped on the bandwagon seeing another way to screw their constituents just like they did when they rammed the dread Carbon Tax* down our throats and that is having adverse effect on the BC economy, thoroughly analyzing what it would do to their province.
This is not say they won’t adopt it in the near future since they have also said that Ottawa isn’t offering sufficient cash incentives to go ahead with the HST.
